*2020 Wales Airshow update*
In light of the current situation, events directly organised by Swansea Council have been cancelled or postponed until the end of August 2020.
We’re sorry to announce that cancelled events include the 2020 Wales Airshow, which was due to take place on 4 – 5 July this year.
Getting here by Car
Please follow the event signage for Swansea and follow the appropriate event car parks / Park & Ride signs. The main display area is location along Swansea Prom between the Cenotaph and Civic Centre.

Swansea is easily accessed from the M4 junctions 42, 45 and 47 – just follow the Wales Airshow signs.
A number of car parks and Park & Rides are available over the weekend. Please check the Parking page for full information, helpful maps and to pre-book online.
There will be a number of road closures and diversions on the weekend in order to ensure the safety, security and enjoyment of those attending the event.
If you are travelling by car please car share if possible. Car sharing will help you save money by sharing the costs and reduce the amount of traffic on the roads, helping the environment
Getting here by train
The nearest railway station is Swansea Central, located on High Street, which is approximately 2 miles away. A taxi rank is situated outside the station. If travelling by train, make sure you leave at least an hour to get to your train from the event site. Event goers should be mindful of the timing of the event and are advised to check with the operator www.traveline.cymru

Great Western Railway GWR
Great Western Railway runs long distance intercity train services to Swansea along the South Wales mainline from Bridgend, Cardiff, Newport, Bristol and London Paddington. There may be delays to normal services due to heavy traffic and the road closures in place.
Drop off at the Civic Centre (County Hall) at one of the bus stops then move the vehicle to the coach parking at the Fabian Way Park and Ride (dedicated coach parking spaces will be made available)

Walking And Cycling
Local people are being encouraged to walk or cycle to the Airshow if possible. Cycle routes are open apart from the cylce path on Swansea Prom between the Mariott and Sketty Lane which is closed. This is closed as the Prom will be very crowded around the ground display area at St Helen’s and each afternoon during the air display’s, so please use the cycle track on the other side of the road.
