The Swansea Prom from the Civic Centre to the Cenotaph was teaming with activities, flight simulators, a fun fair and even an inflatable assault course!
There were lots of displays for the kids to try out..
Including a real Hercules ADV fuselage, Chinook helicopter cockpit and a Typhoon cockpit – just imagine reaching speeds of Mach 2!
Climbing walls
Test out your agility with the RAF and the Army! There were several climbing walls along Swansea Prom with training leaders on hand to get a leg up.
Brush boarding surf simulator
Brushboarding is the latest surf, snow and skate, multi board sport fitness machine.
The ramp, made entirely of brushes, is the only one of its kind in the world.
Life on board
The Royal Navy were on hand to give a glimpse into what life is really like on board ship, and crew will gave cooking demonstrations from their state of the art catering vehicle.
Armoured vehicles and weapons displays
The Army displayed military equipment and armoured vehicles during the event. Visitors could speak to the experts about the capabilities of the TROJAN and TITAN tanks, the SCIMITAR Armoured Reconnaissance Vehicle and the Warrior Infantry Fighting Vehicle.
Virtual Reality pods
The Virtual Reality experience pods were very popular - visitors could take part in military scenarios.
All this and more was at the Wales National Airshow in Swansea Bay, part of the Swansea Bay Summer Festival.
